Profile:

Mr Ibrahim Jour is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Milton Keynes University Hospital (MKUH) where he provides a comprehensive general urology service with subspecialist interests in endourology, stone disease and andrology. He also serves as the Urology Governance Lead and is a member of the hospital’s Medical Advisory Board. Before joining MKUH, Mr Jour was the Urology Lead for Oxford Medical School at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he played a major role in undergraduate surgical education, OSCE examination, curriculum delivery and exam writing. He continues with this role by being an educational supervisor and trainer at Buckingham University. As the BAUS South-Central Urology Champion, he contributed to regional professional development and the dissemination of best practice in urology. He remains an experienced internal examiner for Oxford University. Mr Jour has over eight years of consultant-level experience across leading UK centres, including Oxford University Hospitals, North-West Anglia Foundation trust and East and North Hertfordshire trust. His clinical practice encompasses stone surgery, minimally invasive procedures, genitourinary surgery, prostate diagnostics, and comprehensive men’s health. He has led multiple MDTs, including stone and prostate cancer pathways, and has delivered intra-cavernosal injection clinics for refractory erectile dysfunction. He holds multiple postgraduate diplomas from leading institutions in France and Lebanon in areas including male infertility and assisted reproduction, urodynamics, laparoscopy, and medical research. He achieved the FRCS (Urol) and is on the GMC Specialist Register via CESR.
Mr Jour has authored several peer-reviewed publications and presented extensively at national and international conferences, including multiple podium presentations at the World Congress of Endourology. His academic interests span endourology, stone disease, and optimisation of diagnostics and surgical training. Fluent in Arabic, French, English and conversational Spanish, Mr Jour brings a multicultural background and international training to his clinical practice. Outside medicine, he enjoys
along with his wife and two daughters traveling, languages, writing and music being a pianist.
