Profile
Cate Hobbs is a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in general Urology and bladder cancer. She was an undergraduate at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London and continued her surgical training to consultancy level in the Thames Valley region. Cate undertook a pelvic cancer fellowship in Bristol where she specialised in bladder and prostate cancer. She is now the clinical lead for the bladder cancer service in Oxford, with a particular interest in non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. In that role she has successfully introduced and performs specialist endoscopic procedures such as TULA and blue light cystoscopy. Cate also has an interest in general Urology treating patients with urinary symptoms, urinary retention, urinary tract infections, scrotal swellings and tight foreskins.
